Working together, with one voice and many hearts, we fight for what we believe: life, justice and equality. Together, with many hands, we work every day to become a region free of race and class barriers.

We have been serving the community for 23 years, uniting and leading the Pilsen community. Pilsen is a community of immigrants, here we decided to join our efforts to create a strong and resilient community in these times of change. We are committed to bringing the best community education tools and programs, our campaigns are direct actions and advocacy initiatives that reflect the popular education philosophy of building social awareness for both collective and personal transformation.

The CEDLP is a project sponsored by the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc. It is the only organized source of pro bono legal representation for community-based housing and economic development organizations in the Chicago metropolitan area.
